CHC – SANITATION – SCOPE OF WORK
• Govt. of AP, through the new policy for Sanitation Services (SSP 2015), is fully committed for improving Sanitation, which are resulting in a visible impact in hospitals and patient satisfaction.
• Scientific Sanitation policy 2015 is being implemented from October 2017 across 115 Community health centers in the state.
• Sanitation is implemented round the clock in three shifts. 1st shift is from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, 1 per 10 beds in first shift. 2nd shift is from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 1 per 10 beds in the second shift. 3rd shift is from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, 1 per 20 beds in the third shift.
In addition, sanitation workers shall be deployed for the open premises at the rate of 1 person per 3000 Sq. Yards per day.

The agency should provide the following:
• Training: All staff must receive adequate training to be able to safely perform the role asked from them.
• Supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All the health care workers appointed by the agency need to be provided adequate colour coded uniforms and personal protective equipments (cap, mask, Industrial gloves, boots, etc).
• The colour and the pattern of the uniform will be decided by the Head of the Department.

The Agency shall create different levels of monitoring system with necessary supporting systems such as office equipment and furniture etc, to coordinate as detailed below:
